This tutorial will show you how to group objects, images, and shapes in PowerPoint presentations.
PowerPoint can make it hard to work with multiple objects at once. There is, however, a function that lets you put elements together or take them apart.
So, what do « Grouping, » « Ungrouping, » and « Regrouping » mean in real life? When you click on an object on a PowerPoint slide, a selection rectangle with handles appears around the object. This means you have chosen that object. If you try to choose another shape, the selection handles around the first shape will disappear. This means that you can only change one shape at a time when you select it.
Think about a situation where you have to choose and move several shapes on a diapositive. Obviously, this task will be boring and take a long time. In this case, it’s best to pick all of the objects and put them into a single « group. »
Group Objects in PowerPoint
The process of grouping objects is to make a single selection of a group of objects on a slide, whether they are all different or all the same so that when you click on them, you can select the whole group instead of just one. object. You can still tell the difference between a group and an individual object. When you select a group, you will see a single set of selection and rotation handles around the objects it contains.
To group objects in PowerPoint, open your PowerPoint file, select the objects you want to combine or move, and then use one of the following methods.

After you have grouped the shapes, you can change their properties as a single entity. For example, if you rotate a group, all of the individual objects that are part of that group will rotate together as a single object. In the screenshot below, we turned each shape 90 degrees so you can see the difference (the left side of the screenshot). But on the right side of the picture, we turned the whole group 90 degrees. The group rotation looks much more predictable:
